1, What is a wiring harness product?

A: Every electronic or electrical product uses various electric or electronic components, Take a vacuum cleaner for example, this will have an electric motor to turn the suction fan, on and off switch to provide power to the motor, a control circuit to adjust the motor speed in order to increase or reduce suction and maybe a cut out safety fuse, The wiring harness is a collection of insulated copper conductor,s designed to connect the switch to the motor, the motor to the speed control circuit board and the board to a rotary potentiometer to control the speed. 

 

2, What types of harnesses does HengFeng produce:

A: We specialize in making custom designed good quality wiring harnesses for Consumer market (white goods and black goods), Medical market, Industrial market and Automotive market (Cars and Electric Vehicles, Commercial vehicles,) and communication wiring harnesses. We produce conventional flexible single core wire harnesses and muliti core products, We also produce FFC (Flat Fexible Cable) so called ribbon cable harnesses for data 

Transfer and other applications.

 

3. What needs to be considered when selecting the wire for harness circuits?

A: 

(1) Working current and time that maximum working current needs to be applied.

(2) Thermal stability once short-circuited;

(3) The voltage drop on the line cannot exceed the allowable product working range.

 

4, How does HengFeng check the final product meets the quality required?

A:

(1)Visual check to ensure wires are neat, no visible damage to insulation, conductors

Or terminals, 

(2) Terminals and connectors should be firmly plugged, crimp terminals crimped to meet the specifications; Pull off torque check to ensure crimp tool clamping force is sufficient.

(3) The connectors, sleeves, cable ties, insulating tapes and other non-destructive strains and other non-hazardous materials, cable ties tied with tape tied tightly;

 

(4) According to the use of the product for the corresponding electrical performance test, we carry our continuity checks using resistance meters or actual connection to full circuit tester.

 

5, The main cause of car wiring harness fault?

(1) Connectors not latched properly, 

(2) Broken wire from vibration.

(3) Corrosion of terminals in older cars.

6, HengFeng's wiring harness staff must meet the following the conditions.

A: 

(1) Be of working age and passed medically fit by a Doctor.

(2) Be fully trained and capable of using automatic and manual machinery and equipment used in our harness production factory.

(3) Be trained in safe working practices. 

(4) Be cross functionally trained (to ensure flexibility to cover holidays or absenteeism)

(5) Actively participate in regular production meetings and improvement meetings.

(6) Be able to read diagrams and follow instructions with attention to detail.
